The Palace stands as it was during the sultan time. Its entrance links you to the Bosphorus and all the wonderfully Palacioness of that time period. The rooms have undergone a lot in interior renovations and now those spacious rooms are filled with comfortable furniture and Italian ornate decor bedding and fixures. As you look out from your room around sunset time you will hear the summer jazz music playing from the pool area and you will look at that striking view of tall mosques, the Tokapi Palace and many other wonderful striking monuments of where the west and east meet and you are part of it.

The Atik Pasha Mansion on Ciragan Street in Besiktas is being restored as Four Seasons Bosporus Hotel. Another stunning addition to the Four Season fleet of Hotels. The colors of aqua and silver and taupe throughout the common areas blend with the Bosphorous Sea as the backdrop magically. The modern classic gives the Grandeur that this orignal Palace bestowed on this great location. The Pool and the Restaurant on the Bopshorous cannot demand any better view for that end of the day relaxing and taking in the beauty of this magical city.

A Four Seasons Hotel -Adding more rooms in 2008 and a more spacious Spa area. Courtyard will have addt'l restuarant so watch for more details. It has achieved the top award in Europe for service this year. So again this hotel has stood up to its well known quality. This is a very boutique hotel and for those wanting to be close to all the historical sights, you cannot beat it. The only drawback is that although the views are lovely from the roof terrace for sunsets etc., none of the rooms really have a grand view. But truly, there are so many other places to enjoy the views and Istanbul is busy city so after a full day of sightseeing there is nothing like having this incredible attention to service and those wonderful cushioney chairs or enjoy the drink in your suite or a soak in that big tub.
