The monastery can be reached by local boat or by an adventuresome hike filled in spring with wonderful foliage. Go to Rhodes for a day trip or for your journey back. Although you are very close to Turkey don't get any ideas you will have to go from Rhodes which is a port of entry and exist to get there.
