A short while after leaving Marmaris, signs of the city disappear, reminding you of how Turkey used to look before the tourist boom. Upon reaching the hotel grounds, one is surrounded by the beautiful atmosphere of the hotel complex. The giant pines and lush greenery are fed by a rivulet flowing through the grounds of the hotel, filled with fat fish and tortoises. The scent of honey and soft bird sounds have an immediate and relaxing effect on visitors. The hotel consists of two story units which blend unobtrusively into the quasi-tropical landscape. The rooms are tastefully outfitted with modern country style furniture, designed especially for the hotel. The beach is a ten minute walk down a forest path, or a short boat ride on the river. At the end of the private bay is a peninsula where the hotel has a swimming area, a lively bar and a wide collection of classical music. In the evening you can dine on the hotel grounds or on the peninsula. This kind of intimate accommodation, somewhat secluded from town is never boring with so many activities on hand, including swimming, tennis, hiking, renting a boat or perhaps finding a secret hideaway.
