The lovely island of Hydra is littered with stone mansions, cobbled streets and waterfront cafes. Hydra is a busy island in summer so if wanting to avoid this crazy atmosphere then you will find November through March a wonderful time to visit and never feeling deprived of any of the activites that summer offers except the hot sun. This beautiful hotel is a two minute walk from the port, hidden behind stone walls. Each of the rooms has its own rustic elegance. Wonderful custom tiles accent the bathrooms as well as the floors. A courtyard and swimming pool occupy the spacious garden area and is a wonderful place to relax from the summer heat. This hotel operates and is busy all year (closed only in January), so you always find the staff up to their good reputation.
It is certainly a little gem hotel close to Athens allowing you a quick reprieve from the noise and traffic of Athens (no cars on this island).
