In most of the hotels in this region (because they are built in the chimneys) it is difficult to also offer views from your rooms but that is the wonderful part about this hotel. The suites and some rooms allow wonderful light and views. Some rooms can even be linked through the old tunnels. All the rooms are decorated beautifully from the bed coverings to the drapes. The materials are locally hand crafted with intricate stitching in wonderful earthy colors. Some suites not only have Jacuzzis but also have espresso & cappuccino machines.Most rooms have access to terraces, seperate showers, some with hydromassage. The restaurant has had some fine compliments -- let's hope they can keep it up. We think this is one of the nicest hotels in the region but we also think they have to work on service to be one of the Jewels of the Collection.
