The Kayakapi district was a wealthy residential area of the city of Urgup in the 18th and 19th centuries, and there are many remnants of monumental and civil buildings, a 10th Century Cave Church, a Mosque dating back to the Seljuq Empire and the House of St. John, a Russian Othodox saint.
The hotel is made up of 29 spacious, elegantly-decorated rooms and suites of between 33m2 and 93m2, which are named after local digitaries to add the fabulously authentic atmosphere, and have floor heating, fireplaces, bathrooms with old fashioned tub and with a fireplace, as well as modern amenities such as Nespresso machines, LED televisions and iPod docking stations. Some suites also have a terrace/patio and/or private indoor pool; the 293m2 mansion accommodates 9 and has a traditional meeting room. Throughout the complex, rooms and suites are set around courtyards, some shared, some private.
Daily breakfast is served buffet style, whilst lunch and dinner can be served as a set menu upon request at the Manzara Bistro.
Just 6 miles from Goreme National Park, Kayakapi Premium Caves Cappadocia is 8 miles from Avanos town center. Free private parking is available on site.
