Tosun Pasha Mansion House Overlooking The Seas Of Cesme:
Set in a magnificent 18th century waterfront mansion which was built for a great pasha who came to take the curative waters of Alacati, the 8 room hotel has a private beach area, garden and an outdoor lounge with comfortable sofas right on the docks. There is an indoor hot spring bath, with massages available too. The well-appointed, airy rooms are beautifully decorated with classic wooden furnishings mingling with traditional fabrics which echo the grand history of the building and its seaside lifestyle, which are complimented by modern amenities such as an individual music system in each room, TV, and crisp, pure cotton accessories.
The hotel’s ŕ la carte restaurant serves lunch and dinner. Breakfast is offered in Turkish style with organic eats.
During the 18th Century this historic building was used as four separate homes. None of the original architecture was changed in anyway and the conversion to Nars Ilica hotel was done so that all the original features were preserved. The architect charged with the responsibility of retaining all the buildings original features was the renowned Surreya Saruhan. The interior designer well known for combining history with modern day luxury is Hakan Ezer who has encapsulated the essence of the luxurious dwelling perfectly. An original water feature still exists to this day in the hotel in memory of Tosun Pasha.
